November 2017 – 100th!

The second half of the 100th anniversary celebrations took place at the Detroit Curling club  November 10-12, 2017.
The curlers from the Kitchener – Waterloo area came down by bus. It had been a number of years since a bus had been chartered. It was a relaxing way to travel, not having to worry about the driving. Our driver, Hannah did a great job. Many thanks to the crew who provided the lunch and beverages on the bus.
The Detroit Curling club members hosted a fine weekend. The shuttle buses on Friday  night to the hospitality location and to the dinner on Saturday night were much appreciated.

Many thanks to Ken Romanik and Matt Schumacher for taking pictures over the weekend. There are 2 videos: one from Fox Sports, the other is the choir.
