Ralph Drouare is also a happy camper.

Jack Hamilton always had a story. This one must have been about the big fish he caught.

Another great story teller was Jack Blamey. He must have caught a shorter fish than Jack.

Jack Blamey presents the “Oscar” to the best story teller Bill Anderson.

Here is Bill Anderson putting on his “Oscar” award.

The rules committee reviews the weekend’s infractions. Seated is Vince Scherer. Standing: Don Fanstone (the Deacon), Bob Mooney and Carl Ingraham (the judge).

The Judge then goes through each infraction asking the accused whether they have anything to say. Very seldom does the accused escape from paying a fine.
Here Carl Ingraham (the Judge) outlines Earl Shedwitz’s infraction.

John Blair is another to be fined. He does look guilty.

Eddie Howland is attempting to deny his infraction; but to no avail.

Dave Hesse accepts his fine with a wry smile.

Ralph Drouare takes his fine with a laugh. How times have changed from when we could smoke in dining rooms!

Don Fanstone presents Bob Kennedy with one of a few select awards given out on the weekend.

Vince Scherer was a long time supporter of the exchange. After Vince passed away a tropy was made in his honour. Each exchange the trophy is filled with gin & tonic and each curler sips a toast the Vince’s memory.
