32nd Exchange – 1944
This information came from notes in Doug White’s records.
On March 26, 1944; the KW Granite Club hosted 5 rinks from Detroit. The games were in the morning and evening. Carling Breweries entertained the curlers to lunch, and those who participated would like Carlings to make the ocassions more frequent. During the course of the festivities, Nate Cornwall’s brown derby was put up for auction for the Red Cross. By the time the competition was over, the sum of $360 had been raised for the Red Cross. We are particularly indebted to our president and Claude Musselman for their generosity in boosting the bidding substantially, when it appeared to be lagging a bit! There is no record of the results.

We have the Saturday, March 22 1947 Kitchener end of the exchange in this March 24, 1947 KW Record article.
