The following letter was sent out to Detroit curlers in October 2000 by Dave Nelsen the Detroit exchange organizer to exhort them to prepare for the upcoming invasion of KW curlers in November.
In November 1999, the Detroit curlers beat KW curlers by 9 points. But, in the second half of the exchange the KW curlers gained back more than 9 points to win the exchange points honour.
Our records are not complete enough to indicate how many points KW won by, but it must have been substantial given that Dave does not provide any details on the final score!
