Although there was a lot of snow on the ground, the weather for driving to Kitchener Waterloo this year was fine. Detroit arrived with a 16 point deficit. The Saturday morning curling saw KW add another 11 points. In the afternoon, Detroit came back somewhat with an 8 point advantage. But not enough as KW came out 19 points ahead.
