There was a great turn out this year with 24 curlers coming from Detroit and 31 from Kitchener. There were a number of new members from KW. KW Granite was looking to regain the trophy from Detroit. It was a daunting task as Detroit had a large lead after the November 2010 half of the exchange. But, the KW Granite curlers came through and overcame the deficit to claim the trophy once again. Some candid shots on the ice:

Jim Morris smiles after running from the Heidelberg Hotel to the Granite Club. Unfortunately, he missed a turn and ran all the way to Victoria Street before getting directions back to the club. He was a few minutes late for the curling!
