Another large contingent of Detroit Curlers came north for the 101st exchange at the KW Granite club – March 16-18, 2018. It was a sad exchange as we had lost 2 long time Detroit exchange members. Don Warthman was a fixture behind the bar in Detroit for the sinner’s breakfast. He made the best Bloody Marys and Whiskey Sours. For decades Joe Livermore provided the sausages on Friday night and the amazing corned beef for Saturday lunch. Not to mention the runny eggs for Sunday breakfast!
