Background of the Exchange

This curling exchange between clubs in Kitchener-Waterloo and Detroit began in 1917. Undeterred by wars, a depression and snowstorms, the exchange has been held each year ever since. There are not a lot of details about the early days of the exchange, but we do have some history.

 Format of the Exchange

There are 2 parts to the exchange each year.
Early in November, Kitchener-Waterloo curlers venture to Detroit.

On the second or third weekend in March, Detroit curlers go to Kitchener-Waterloo.

Join us for the First half of the 106th Exchange.
