There was another great turn out this year with 25 curlers coming over the border from Kitchener. There were a number of new members from KW. After squeaking out a win in the last exchange, KW Granite was confident that they could win again. That was not to be as Detroit was able to mark up a 12 point lead. Many thanks to Bob Mooney for the Polish Yacht Club pictures and to Brady Code for the rest.

Some of the KW contingent went to Detroit early to meet up with a few Detroiters at the Polish Yacht Club. It’s real name is the Ivanhoe Cafe. It is famous for its perogies and sausage.
