Les Houston - K-W Granite/Detroit Curling Exchange

Les passed away on February 19, 2022.

He developed lung problems over a year ago, which had gotten worse.

Les was a long time member of the KW Granite Club, serving as president
of the club board in 1988-89.
He joined the Detroit Exchange right after that and was an enthusiastic
supporter and contributor to it.
Les was member of the Saturday Morning Lunch and Curling club and curled
in Men’s Daytime.

As a retired school principal, Les used his organizational skills in the
many activities he got involved in.
He truly was a gentleman and a scholar.
He was an advocate of the adage: “Life is too short to drink cheap wine”.
You could always count on Les to give you expert advice on the best red
wines to buy.
Usually it was a Shiraz!
