In March 1990 the exchange was held at the KW Granite Club.

The curlers got right to it on Saturday morning:

The master of ceremonies is Don Fanstone. Don has been doing a great job of this for many years.

At this exchange Jack Blamey was given a plaque honouring him for his many years of service to the exchange. Jack always had a story to tell. The most famous was “The Bombay Bicycle Club”.

Ray Delion regularly donated items of clothing that he auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Exchange.


Paul Sandford adds the tonic to the gin in the Vince Scherer Memorial Trophy. The trophy is used at each Exchange to toast the memory of one of the great members of the Exchange – Vince Scherer.
